But don’t expect to see the same intense and broody Derek we all know and love today as Nelson plays Derek at the age of 15 year old, when he use to be a popular and charming star athlete; this is before disaster struck to his family which trigger him into a lone werewolf always in search of a new pack.
In the same episode, viewers will also be meeting Derek’s mother Talia, who is strong and deadly alpha werewolf, and his older sister Laura, a beautiful beta who has the potential to become an alpha.
Nelson is best known for his role as the tribute from District 3 in The Hunger Games. Teen Wolf returns Monday, June 3 on MTV.
